About

The Banyule & District Netball Association was formed in 1955, with the goal of assisting young players in the Banyule community to be involved in netball. All competition is currently held at the Banyule NETS Stadium, which was opened in May 2003.

The BDNA is run by a dedicated board and a number of committees, as well as competition management staff, umpires, and volunteers. Please click here for further information about our people.

Our Association runs domestic competitions focused on providing varied levels of netball to suit all levels of skill, from netballers wanting to continually improve and advance their netball skills, to those who love to play netball for social interaction. The BDNA is dedicated to providing a netball pathway for players from domestic to representative and exposure to VNL level netball through our partnership with North East Blaze.

BDNA offers netball competitions from NETSETGO level (aged 5 and up), right through to open-age and mixed. Please click here for more information about our programs.

We encourage all of our club coaches to gain Netball Victoria coaching accreditation, to ensure players receive the best possible coaching from the beginning of their netball experience.

We welcome all new players, teams, and clubs. Please contact us if you are interested in joining us.
